In this workshop, Linda and Opie have combined their “whole 9 yards class” with their “put the pedal to the metal class” to offer a tin-tastic class like no other! Starting with a funky, chunky, thick sterling silver bracelet and closure, you will create a variety of unique charms, including window and tab charms using colorful tin cans, assorted sheet metals, found materials and glass and metal beads. Other techniques include etching, oxidation, aging, metal stamping, wire-wrapping and using alternative and/or unusual materials as an optional means of attachment, as well as simple riveting and soldering. An array of found objects and glass and metal dangles will provide the finishing touches to this one-of-a-kind conversation piece!
