In this program, we will make a small book which measures 5 1/2” x 5 1/2” and has four signatures plus a front and back cover. Not only will we be making fabric paper, we will also cover two new paper techniques, the first using modeling paste and paint on paper and the second using punch-outs glued to a paper background and gessoing. The paper used for the signatures will be watercolor paper which is then covered with fabric and fabric paper. The signatures are then embellished with rubber stamped images, photo-transfers, stencils, lace, brads, buttons, in fact most things you have in your stash. Most of the book is machine-stitched with some hand-stitching.
