Handwriting In Journals

Handwritten journals are a treasure that last hundreds of years, cherished by family and historians for the insights they give into the writer and the times in which they lived. In this fast-paced and fun class, students will
learn to put their best “hand” forward by studying such alphabets as “My Old Typerwriter,” “Clothesline Caps,” and “Willow-by-Hand” and focusing on clear, clean, and legible journal entries. We will also explore and experiment with various media and papers as they relate to handmade books–the best kind to fill with content created with heart and hand.
