Carol Pallesen has been teaching calligraphy and related book arts classes for more than 25 years. She loves to share her knowledge and believes that teaching is the most important thing she does. Carol has conducted workshops around the word, and has taught at 19 international calligraphy conferences. She has been honored with the inclusion of her work in several publications which include Calligraphy in Print. Lettering Arts in the 80s, Cover to Cover, Tabellae Ansatae, and Handcrafted Cards.
Her work has been featured in exhibitions in Washington, D.C. at the National Museum of Women in the Arts, in Salzburg, Austria at the Berchtold Villa Gallery, as well as other exhibits nationally. Carol resides in Reno, Nevada and works out of her studio, the Silent Hand Scriptorium.
