At Valley Ridge, you will be able to work in an environment that is sensitive to the aesthetic eye and soul. You will find the natural environment you need for nurture and the solitude you need to concentrate, all without sacrificing comfort and convenience.

We are located on a 120-acre farm in the driftless area of Southwest Wisconsin. Homesteaded one hundred years ago, the farm has gone through many transitions. Once the home to cattle, sheep, and chickens, the farm now provides respite to hawks, eagles, turkey, pheasant, deer and coyote. While exploring the property, you will discover a four-acre pine grove, 40 acres of prairie and grasslands, 76 acres of forest and a trout stream that flows through the lower part of the farm.

The Farmhouse offers a charming, 1,200 square foot, completely furnished, two-story, four bedroom/two bath rental on the property. Writers may rent individual bedrooms and have shared use of the entire Farmhouse, or the Farmhouse may be rented as a whole for your retreat. The 1,200 square foot Classroom can accommodate up to 18 people and is fully equipped with work tables and chairs, ample electrical outlets, internet access and much more. The 600 square foot Community Building is approximately 50 feet from The Classroom, and is equipped for dining services with a small kitchen, dishware, utensils and glassware.
