Carol Barton is a book artist, teacher, curator, and arts administrator. She has published several artist’s editions and has taught paper engineering classes to all age levels at art centers and schools across the United States, including Penland School of Crafts, Haystack School of Crafts, the Metropolitan Museum of Art, and the Smithsonian Institution. She is on the faculty at The University of the Arts in Philadelphia. Her work is exhibited internationally and is in numerous collections. Her latest book, The Pocket Paper Engineer, is an interactive how-to workbook on the art of constructing pop-ups.
