Our workshops and classes explore many art forms, ranging from book arts, collage and mixed media, jewelry, metals, mosaics, papermaking, fiber arts and many other art forms.

  You’ll find the Valley Ridge experience different than any other art workshop - each workshop is a deep focus on one art form, with a relaxed pace to give you the most knowledge, hands-on experience and opportunity for creative personal growth. Since 1999, hundreds of students have discovered the Valley Ridge difference, and returned time and time again.

For the 2010 season, Valley Ridge is pleased to welcome back many of your favorite instructors, as well as several new artists. Making their debuts are:

Spheres, Cones, and Cubes Oh My!

In this three day workshop you will be taking on the challenge of making 1”-3” hollow constructions out of 18 gauge copper sheet. You will choose to make a sphere, cone, or cube that you will deck or make two sides which fit into each other. You will conclude by finishing the surface and presto!-you have a beautiful, delicate container. We will be practicing advanced soldering methods, scoring and bending sheet metal, dapping, forming, sanding and finishing. Learn more.

  Farmhouse Accommodations
Our beautiful location in southwestern Wisconsin features a state-of-the-art classroom/studio, a detached community building serving delicious, healthy meals and comfortable, convenient private bedroom accommodations in our restored farmhouse with shared living space, kitchen, porch and deck, or limited campsites. On-site accommodations are optional and first-come, first-serve.
